What you get

Why train with us?

The things that matter, short enough to read on a phone.

  • No machine and no consumables. The cost of one session is close to nothing.
  • An hour long session priced as therapy rather than massage. The margin is high because of it.
  • You reach clients who find an ordinary massage uncomfortable or too intense.
  • Working with five grams of pressure is filmed close up. For massage therapists it is the biggest change and words do not convey it.
  • There are three people at most on the in person course and the trainer corrects your touch on the spot.
  • We agree the date of the in person course individually, weekends included, and build it around your flight if you are travelling in.

What you will learn

Listening with your hands, meaning how to recognise the movement the body makes on its own and not override it with your own pressure.

The basic positions and holds: the occiput, the sacrum, the diaphragm and the chest.

A complete session from the first contact through to the close, and how to bring the client back.

Contraindications, above all around the head, where you must not work.

What you will learn

What to tell the client in advance

That they stay clothed and that almost nothing appears to happen. Without that, a session reads as very little work.

That the reaction can arrive the next day, sometimes as tiredness, sometimes as relief.

That this is not a substitute for medical care. The course is clear about where the line is and when to send a client on.

What to tell the client in advance

How customers rate our shop

This rates our online shop, not this particular course. The reviews are collected by Heureka, the Czech comparison site, and only someone who actually bought from us gets the questionnaire. The reviews themselves are written in Czech, so we show the score rather than translate what people said.

Common questions

What people ask us most

What is craniosacral therapy?

Working with a very light touch along the axis between the skull and the sacrum. The therapist rests their hands and listens to the movement the body makes on its own. Nothing is pushed, nothing is forced back into place, and the body allows the release itself.

How light is that touch?

People usually talk about a pressure of around five grams, roughly the weight of a small coin. For massage therapists that is the biggest change from what they are used to. It is the most important part of the course and we film it close up.

Who is the therapy for?

For clients with tension in the neck and jaw, with headaches, with sleep problems, and for anyone under long term stress. Also for clients who find an ordinary massage uncomfortable or too intense.

How long is a session?

Around sixty minutes. The client lies fully clothed and for most of that time almost nothing appears to happen, which you need to explain in advance so it is not read as doing very little.

Do I have to be a physiotherapist?

You do not. The course is built for massage therapists, therapists and beauticians. What matters is being able to slow down, listen with your hands and let the body do the work. The anatomy you need is in the notes.

What is the difference between the online and the in person course?

The content is the same. The online course at 81,60 EUR is video with notes and a certificate, and you can go back to it. The in person course at 204,70 EUR you attend at our salon in Prague 4, three people at most, and the trainer corrects your touch on the spot.

When do the in person courses run?

We do not publish fixed dates. Once you have ordered, Monika will contact you and you agree a day that suits you, weekends included. If you are flying in, we build the day around your flight. Our page about individual training in Prague has the details.

What language is the training in?

We teach in English, Russian and Ukrainian ourselves, and arrange an interpreter for other languages if you tell us in advance. The online course comes in English, with English subtitles or audio and notes and certificate in English.

When should the therapy not be done?

After a recent head injury, with intracranial bleeding in the history, with acute inflammation, with an aneurysm and with a fever. The course covers contraindications in detail and we take them seriously, because this is work around the head.

How does it fit with other services?

It pairs well with lymphatic massage, with the Dorn method and with head spa. It is a calm, therapeutic line that speaks to a different client than machine based procedures.
