Ayurvedic massage courses

Two separate ones. Ayurvedic face massage from 163,70 EUR and ayurvedic full body oil massage from 204,70 EUR. Each has its own course notes and its own certificate, so you can buy only the one you actually want to offer.

You work with warm oil, with rhythm and with marma points, the places where tension gathers according to ayurveda. The pace is slower and the whole treatment is built as a ritual rather than a performance. Clients are happy to pay more for that.

Vital points on the body and in the face, worked with pressure and a circular movement. They are not random spots, they have their own positions and their own order. The course shows them in close up.

You use warm vegetable oil, most often sesame or coconut, depending on the client. It is not about expensive equipment, it is about heating the oil properly and getting the amount right. The course covers that.

The face massage runs around sixty minutes, the full body massage sixty to ninety. Both belong at the higher end of a massage price list, because the whole thing is a ritual and the client will not lie still that long anywhere else.

The content is the same. The online version is video with course notes and a certificate, and you can come back to it as often as you need. The in person course takes place in our salon in Prague 4 in a group of at most three people, and the trainer corrects your rhythm and your pressure on the spot.

You do not, though it helps. If you already massage, the biggest change will be the pace. Ayurvedic massage is slower than most therapists are used to, and that is where the whole effect comes from.

With a fever, acute inflammation, a fresh injury, thrombosis, in the first trimester of pregnancy, with an oncological condition without a doctor approving it, and with an allergy to the oil being used. Contraindications are a chapter of their own in both courses.

We do not publish fixed dates. After your order Monika will contact you and you agree a day that suits you, weekends included. We ask for payment before the course takes place, and if something comes up we move your date once free of charge.
