No, and anyone who says otherwise is not telling you the truth. Every hair is at a different stage of growth, so the light only reaches some of them each time. For the full effect we recommend 5 to 10 sessions 4 to 5 weeks apart, then a maintenance treatment once a year.

Even with the maximum number of sessions, completely smooth skin cannot be guaranteed. This is lasting reduction, not absolute removal. The number of sessions is individual and cannot be predicted in advance.

It does not. The light targets the pigment in the hair, so blond, grey and red hair cannot be treated this way. If you are not sure, write to us before you book.

Shave the area with a razor 2 to 3 days beforehand. Do not pluck with an epilator or wax, ideally for four weeks before. For four to six weeks avoid the sun and sunbeds and do not use self tanning products. On the day, come with no cream, deodorant or make up.

For 24 to 48 hours skip the sauna, steam room, sunbeds, hot baths and hard exercise. Protect the skin with a high factor sunscreen, stay out of direct sun, avoid scrubs and make up on the treated area, and drink plenty of water.

Small areas around 30 minutes, large ones about 60. That is a guide, the time is always individual.
