How plasma works
A small plasma arc, something like a tiny flash, forms between the single use tip and the skin at a distance of about a millimetre. It evaporates the old skin and transfers no heat while doing it.
Because the arc is very precise, the surrounding and underlying tissue stays untouched. The procedure stimulates the fibroblasts, the body starts producing collagen and elastin and the skin smooths out.
The flat tip, which we call the mushroom, works differently: it combines plasma with working serum deep into the epidermis and the dermis.
